Module 4 – Mental Mastery
Practice the Tools of Mental Mastery; Familiarize Yourself with Your Ten Bodies HW Assignment
Homework:
– Read about your Ten Bodies. Feel into them. Assess if you are weak / overactive in your Positive, Negative, and Neutral Mind. See what you can do about strengthening and balancing them all, with your Neutral Mind reigning supreme.
– Write some Quantum Questions down in your journal and also post them on your fridge or at your altar or somewhere you can see them on the daily.
(ex: How is this blessing me?
What’re the gifts in this? How is this a miracle?
If I take a wider viewpoint, how is all of this actually working in my favor?
What infinite possibilities become available to me now?
And next time you find Life “hitting you with a curveball”, pause, go drink some water, put your hands on your body, and ask yourself these Quantum Questions.
– Establish a regular and do-able Meditation practice for yourself that will balance them out in a healthy way, and commit to following it. Even if it’s only a few minutes a day. What will that be?
– Go on a 10 Day Fast from speaking Negativity, consciously catching yourself whenever you find yourself grumbling, criticizing, judging yourself/others/situations in a negative light.
Instead, notice that, stop, and practice asking yourself Quantum Questions to help you find the blessings (sometimes in disguise) in and & every situation for 10 days.
(If you feel this is beneficial to you, consider extending this to 21 or 40 days.)
– If you haven’t yet, make some playlists of uplifting Music, and Mantras that will help your mind & heart and lift the vibration, when you are not feeling well. SpiritVoyage.com is the best place to find awesome Mantra music.
(Include the Magic Mantra, so you have that to play to reverse negativity.)
– If you haven’t yet, look into getting an Audible Account and filling it with interesting, inspiring, high frequency Wisdom Streams / Books that can help divert and focus your monkey mind towards these more empowering and beneficial frequencies. For example, I have 60 different audiobooks in my Audible account. During the day, I will often listen to Mantra Music or a motivational / success oriented book. At night, I usually listen to “Wisdom Rising” or “Feeding Your Demons” or “Remote Viewing” or Abraham Hick’s “Wellness Meditations” or a biography of an inspiring person or some other such beautiful wisdom stream as I go to sleep…
EXTRA:
In your journal, take a page for each category below, with each category as a headline at the top.
– My Body
– My Self
– My Finances
– My Job / Career / lack of
– My Partner / lack of one
– Men
– Women
– Life / God / the World
Watch your mind carefully this week.
Make a list of 1-5 limiting beliefs & disempowering selftalk that you discover that you have around each of the categories.
Next to each, write down the primary emotion that you feel around each one.
Allow yourself to be curious.
Look and see, is the belief true?
Where does it come from?
How old is it from when it first originated?
What’s underneath it?
How has it been “helping u survive”, What’s it been “protecting” you from?
(Take a moment and thank each belief for being a placeholder to “protect” you during a time when you thought you needed it. 🙏 )
👉 Now look at what unfinished work, what unresolved wound, or what unconscious vow might possibly be underneath it?
Are you willing to work with it?
Can you perhaps trade it in for a more empowering belief?
If so, what would be an example of a more empowering, more spacious belief?
Here’re examples from Jade’s work:
JADE’S HW.
(Sample from my journal)
MY BODY:
DISEMPOWERING THOUGHTS:
I am way too fat.
I am unattractive.
Why cant I lose weight?
Ugh, I don’t like looking at myself.
I’m so bloated I look pregnant.
PRIMARY EMOTION: Sadness. (Frustration, Disappointment, Shame).
TRUE? / ORIGIN? / WHAT’S UNDERNEATH? / HOW HAS IT PROTECTED ME?
Well, I feel like they are kinda true…
These thoughts are about 10 years old, ever since having a child.
Underneath is a feeling of hopelessness, helplessness, powerlessness.
I push it away, and keep working and focusing on other things.
Keeping this in place protects me from ever being consumed in a relationship again…
It has protected me by repelling away people who are only concerned about looks, so that I only attract people who love my heart and soul.
UNRESOLVED WOUND / UNCONSCIOUS VOW:
Feeling drained, trapped, taken over by relationships that did not serve me
I vowed to never get trapped like that again, and also to never fall in love with someone like that again. (I consciously told myself, “May I never fall in love with him again.”)
Scared to be thin and sexy again, and “obliged” to date again?
SOME MORE EMPOWERING BELIEFS:
I am a mature, healthy woman.
I am beautiful as I am.
I embrace a healthy diet and lifestyle as more SELF-LOVE for me.
I love my Body Temple, and I commit to taking good care of it!
*****************************************
MY SELF:
DISEMPOWERING THOUGHTS:
I’m not enough
I’m not good enough
I’ll never have what I want
Why cant I do better?
PRIMARY EMOTION: Sadness, Frustration.
TRUE? / ORIGIN? / WHAT’S UNDERNEATH? / HOW HAS IT PROTECTED ME?
Not true.
For a lifetime.
Keeps me perfectionistic.
Keeps me humble.
But also keeps me from playing full out though.
Protects me from Failing.
UNRESOLVED WOUND / UNCONSCIOUS VOW:
Parents never affirming love, praise, validation or acceptance
Birthday time, when dad yelled at me that I’m so stupid.
I became traumatized to not show unbridled joy anymore.
Also when dad beat me about touching his art supplies – I shut down around artistic expression since then. Became measured, resigned, cautious, hyperconscious..
SOME MORE EMPOWERING BELIEFS:
God-Goddess Loves me absolutely, unconditionally, and completely.
My parents were my Gatekeepers to this world, but they are not my Source or Ultimate Authority.
Im sorry to my little girl, You are okay. You are enough. You are good enough.
Yes, you CAN have what you want… It’s okay….
Do this inner work for yourself, feel free to journal it out.
If you like, you are also welcome to share it in the FB VIP Group Page if you want!
INFINITE BLESSINGS ! ~~~

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
Aloha Beloveds,
We are now at the halfway point of the lessons for this journey, and I’m so proud of you for making it thus far.
So to recap,
On the First Week, we pledged allegiance to our Soul Self, and prioritized its Evolutionary Journey —
On our Second Week, we discussed holding and harnessing our Sacred Time and Space for ourselves to heal and focus, setting up the foundation for this journey to unfold.
On our Third Week, we spoke on Owning our part in it, operating from Radical Responsibility; relating to ourselves as the Source, the Master, the Change Agent, of our lives; and dropping the blame game, transcending the Victim – Perpetrator – Rescuer dysfunction. Tuning into our own self, and mastering the multidimensional aspects of our selves.
And on our 4th week, we shared tools on Embracing our Emotions – relating to them as divine messengers, neutral weather reports, and also like little children.
In the HW, we shared how to do a Soul Clearing on yourself, as well as KY meditations for Balancing Emotions, and moving thru Anger, Fear, Sadness…
So now we move into Mastery of the Mind.
As we’ve discussed before, Once we reclaim our true identity as Spirit Incarnate, and place our Soul Self in the Driver’s Seat of our lives, then we can relate to everything else in its proper perspective.
We can then stop overidentifying with our past history, our emotions, and now also from our mind.
Besides having tools to master our emotions, it’s also super crucial to learn how to mind your mind, master it and learn how to relate to it in the most beneficial way.
Earlier, we discussed how in the KY tradition, we have 10 bodies, and 3 minds.
The 3 minds are Positive, Negative, and Neutral.
None is better than the other, we actually need to cultivate each of them to be strong and healthy, and then essentially operate and make decisions from the Neutral Mind.
Positive (Expansive) Mind
Am I open to all possibilities that life has to offer? Do I let these into my life?
The Positive Mind sees the positive essence of all situations and beings. It is expansive and allows resources in. It gives you a strong will and allows you to use your power easily and humbly. It makes you naturally playful and optimistic and gives you a good sense of humor. It makes your communication strong and direct.
If the Positive Mind is weak, it is like receiving a daily injection of poison. You can be overwhelmed by the input of your Negative Mind which can be depressing and paralyzing. You may be angry and intolerant or hesitate to use your own power, your own heat, because you are afraid of the responsibility it brings or afraid that you might abuse it.
Key Concepts:
Equality, Positivity
Key to Balance: Strengthen the navel point. Increase your self-esteem. Use positive affirmations.
Negative (Protective) Mind
Can I determine if there is danger in a situation? What do I need to consider?
The Negative Mind helps you to give form to the creativity of your Soul Body with the gifts of containment, form, and discernment. It instills in you a longing to belong which, in its highest expres sion, drives you to connect very deeply with your own God self. It gives you patience to be obedient to your own inner guidance.
If your negative mind is underdeveloped, your longing to belong can cause you to get into inappropriate self-destructive relationships because you are over-influenced by others; you aren’t contained enough in your own center.
Key Concepts:
Containment, Obedience
Key to Balance: Value your discipline. Develop conscious relationships of integrity.
Neutral (Meditative) Mind
Do I allow myself to perceive and act upon inner wisdom?
The Neutral or Meditative Mind is the ultimate “win-win” mentality. From here you look at the whole play of life with compassion. The Neutral Mind evaluates the input of your Negative and Positive Minds (and the rest of the Ten Bodies as well) and gives you guidance within nine seconds. It is a very intuitive vantage point and allows you to access your Soul.
If your Neutral Mind is weak, you may have a hard time making decisions. You’ll have the habit of feeling victimized by life because you don’t know how to integrate your experiences and find meaning in them. You may have a hard time seeing beyond the polarities of life on Earth and tuning into the great cosmic scheme of things.
Key Concepts:
“Cup of Prayer’
Guru Ram Das
Service, Compassion, Integration, Balance
Key to Balance: Meditate
The neutral mind is one of three mental bodies, the others being the positive and negative minds. Its attributes are compassion, service, and balance.
The neutral mind is like a scale.
It balances and weighs the information being offered to it by the positive mind (what could go right?) and the negative mind (what could go wrong?).
It rises above agenda and the details of the world to give a more neutral, yet compassionate determination of your best path.
Strong neutral minds can evaluate and determine the best course within 9 seconds.
A weak neutral mind means that you are at the mercy of the dueling positive and negative minds.
You will be changeable, have trouble making up your mind, get involved in a mental war with yourself, and be at the mercy of a roller coaster of emotions.
The neutral mind slows that process down and allows you to come from an objective, compassionate, and devotional place.
One of the biggest gifts of the neutral mind is that it allows you to see everything that has happened to you (good or bad) in terms of blessings and gifts.
Obstacles become opportunities, and you can see the blessings in all.
If you are stuck in a place of grief and sadness with a “why me?” mentality, you could benefit from strengthening the 4th body.
OK so here’s a few ways to cultivate each mind:
So first for the Positive Mind –
If it’s too weak, then I encourage you to Adopt Blessed Perception & Apply a Miracle Mindset.
Your current default mindset can be seen as the sum of our parents, close friends, societal conditioning – and it’s usually fear & judgment based and not very empowering.
There are so many different kinds of mindsets we can take on to view the world, and you don’t have to keep the ones that you were raised with.
All the thoughts and beliefs we have about money, relationships, sex, men, women, morality, business, the world, etc. were mostly inherited and not consciously chosen,
They are like a pair of dirty sunglasses that we inherited that color our worldview and obscure our true vision.
So Rather than blindly accepting our default mindset, I am inviting you to take off that pair of dirty sunglasses, and consciously adopt a clean, clear mindset that empowers you.
So I invite you to Adopt Blessed Perception & Apply A Miraculous Mindset –
the idea that anything and everything that ever happens and occurs to you, is a total blessing for your benefit, and that miracles and grace are normal everyday occurences.
Allow that to be the starting point from which you view the world.
From there, you then develop the practice of actively looking, claiming and seeking out how everything that happens is actually a blessing of some kind. how everything is actually always working out in your favor, whether you can see it yet or not.
You invite grace and miracles to have a place in your life.
And If you cant see it yet in a situation or such, and you relate to it as it’s just a blessing in disguise, and you have FAITH, and you build trust in Life and the Ways of the Universe, rather than our limited human sight or agendas.
One of the ways to develop this practice is by asking Quantum Questions –
The mind likes to gnaw on questions, so give it what it wants but lead it — ask it high quality, positive questions.
For example, when something happens that may seem “negative,”
Instead of asking myself,
“Why is this happening to me,” I rather ask “why is this happening FOR me and how is this blessing me?” What’s the blessing in all this? What are the good aspects?
How is this a miracle?
If I take a wider viewpoint, what is the tapestry of blessings in all this?
What infinite possibilities become available to me now?
Quantum Questions are not meant to really be answered, they are meant to be asked and allowed to resound in your being, and redirect your focus back to one of Blessing.
So that’s one of the first points I want to share with you.
To adopt blessed perception and apply a miracle mindset.
OK now for Developing the Negative Mind.
We want the Negative Mind to be strong as well,
we want to strengthen the muscle of Discernment and Intuition here.
Get used to tallying the pros and cons of something, and listening to and honoring your divine intuition and your “gut feelings.” From these signals, create and honor your strong boundaries.
Value your time, space, energy and self more and more and be protective of yourself.
Give up people pleasing, and refuse to be manipulated.
Create and enforce good boundaries with others, and learn how to communicate them clearly and well so that all can be truly honored.
It took me decades to learn this one.
If your Negative Mind is too strong, and too fearful and protective, then we need to overcome it by strengthening the positive mind and the neutral mind.
While the negative mind provides us with necessary boundaries and protection, it can also limit us. An over-active negative mind may cause us to view challenges as insurmountable and prevent us from tapping into our creative potential.
The first step is to pay attention to your words and thoughts. Oftentimes, we’re unaware that we project or perpetuate negativity. Once you’ve become aware of patterns of negativity, see if you can take a 40 day challenge and go 40 days without any negative words or thoughts.
Every time the phrases “I can’t” or “I don’t like” pop into your head, dismiss them. Begin negating the negative. For each “I can’t,” turn it around to “I can.”
Another step you can take is to begin to differentiate between pain and discomfort, and eliminate the negativity associated with discomfort. If you’re feeling true physical pain, it’s an indication that something is wrong and must be corrected. But discomfort—moving against resistance, stretching muscles that haven’t been used, or developing awareness that is new to us—allows us to grow. Can you transform the “I can’t” mantra to “Sat Nam,” to give you the strength to keep up?
And then I leave you with one of my favorite mantras, that reverses negativity. It’s also called the magic mantra, and I play this anytime that I feel like I’m spiraling down into negativity, I play this mantra instead.
A powerful mantra that you can use to reverse the negative mind to the positive is the “Magic Mantra,” Ek Ong Kaar, Sat Gur Prasaad, Sat Gur Prasaad, Ek Ong Kaar. Satkirin Kaur Khalsa’s version of this on Lightness of Beingis a perfect accompaniment for any of the meditations you can do with this mantra. “Using the Magic Mantra as a Gudtkaa to Reverse Negative Energy.”
A gudtkaa is a stop lever to reverse the energy of the mind.
When negative energy is stopped, it will reverse and become positive.
And now for the Neutral Mind.
Some ways to develop the Neutral Mind are –
Establishing a regular practice of meditation is key.
Meditation trains the mind not to react wildly to stimuli.
This, in turn, allows you to approach things from a calmer perspective.
Meditation will help you to Align yourself with Infinite Wisdom,
Develop the Frontal Lobe
And stimulate the pineal and pituitary glands.
(Decalcify the Pineal Gland & stimulate the pineal and pituitary thru meditation and detoxing)
Another benefit of mantras, is that they focus the mind, especially if you have monkey mind, I highly recommend that you study and get to know mantras and use them as tools to focus yourself.
When I know my mind is just running on low, negative venting, I allow it to be and I play mantras in the background to reverse that negativity and attune it to a higher state again soon.
MANTRA:
Magic Mantra. Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasaad Sat Gur Prasaad Ek Ong Kar.
Besides the Positive, Negative & Neutral Minds; there’s also this —
Unconscious, Subconscious, Conscious, SuperConscious
Yogi Bhajan explains it like this –
When you speak unconsciously, you represent your emotions, your feelings, your neuroses, your handicaps, your shortcomings, and your insecurities.
When you speak subconsciously, you are a con-person, you are a thief, you are a cheat, you manipulate, you are dishonest.
All you want is to win the moment or impress the moment.
Such people are never true to a bigger picture; they are never real in their lives.
When you speak consciously, that which you speak about happens.
(We will discuss that more in the next point.)
When you speak super-consciously from the supreme self of you, that becomes the guiding line for the Universe.
Then the akashic record has to move with that angle.
So be aware of which mind you are speaking from and practice bringing more Consciousness into your speech.
