~ Kundalini Yoga Benefits ~

Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic blend of physical postures, breathing, movement, stretching, meditation, mantra and relaxation, the combination of which activates the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, expands the lung capacity, and purifies the bloodstream. Both safe and effective, it brings balance to the body, mind and soul, and can be practiced by almost anyone, regardless of age, fitness, occupation and experience. You will discover how to unleash and strengthen the mental, physical and nervous energies of your body. It is on-the-job training for success and excellence in life. It builds inner strength and self awareness so you can fulfill your highest potential. According to Yogi Bhajan, your experience during Kundalini Yoga practice is the most important thing – it goes right to the heart of your being. Everyone has the energy of the Kundalini flowing though their bodies. However, in many cases this flow is little more than a trickle. Regular practice can turn this trickle into a flood, tapping into the vast reservoir of dormant energy stored under the fourth vertebra of the spinal column. This energy is stimulated to rise up the spinal column and activate the pineal gland. Once activated, this gland enables you to properly use the energy of the mind and emotions. Thanks to the power of Kundalini Yoga, in this awakened state you are able to be in control of yourself rather than being controlled by your emotional programming. “Where there is mystery there is no mastery, and where there is mastery there is no mystery. The only miracle is that by God’s grace you put your ego aside and let God have a chance. Then there is no limit to your intuition, intelligence, and healing presence” – Yogi Bhajan Through the practice of kriyas, breathing techniques (pranayama) and mantras, you will increase the prana – the life force – flowing through your body. It flows through everything – your hands, your eyes, even your voice, and can be used as a tool to heal yourself and to heal others. Self healing and self love are really the same. Mantra and sound current can play a critical part in Yogi Bhajan’s teachings, working with the energy of the emotions and soothing conflicted energy. As part of your Kundalini Yoga practice, hold the space of unconditional love you have created for yourself and project it towards others whom you may wish to heal. The more you experience this space within yourself, the more you will have to share with others. Regular Kundalini Yoga practice will help you to:
  • feel happier, healthier, be more productive, more creative, and more relaxed!
  • transform your life and relationships, and feel more fulfilled and satisfied!
  • boost your energy levels and enjoy greater levels of physical well-being!
  • become more intuitive and able to attract new opportunities!
  • embark on an exciting new journey of self-discovery!
You will be opened up to lots of new experiences and sensations, some related to the cleansing of your physical body and subconscious mind. Your awareness will expand and you will be aware of more thoughts, insights, feelings and sensations. During these experiences, you should endeavor to be present to what you are experiencing without analysis. We often hear people say that they had this wonderful experience and then when they tried to process it, it went away. As soon as you try to figure out what is happening the experience disappears. When you stay in your body, your experiences last longer. You want to savor these precious moments. Insights come later. People decide to practice Kundalini Yoga for many different reasons. Perhaps it was recommended to you as a way to help you relax, cope with stress and find peace of mind. Perhaps you were simply curious. It doesn’t really matter what your reason may have been, everyone is welcome to join in. However, you must be warned: If you genuinely practice it, then you will find yourself and your life changing. If you do not want this, if everything in your life is perfect, then don’t proceed! However, if you do want to explore the possibilities offered by this technology, and wish to discover and enjoy your highest potential, then Kundalini Yoga is most definitely for you.

~ Deep Gong Bath ~

The Gong is one of the oldest musical instruments in the world. Based on ancient wisdom, the gongs vibrate at the same frequency as the body allowing the body to heal itself. The sounds and vibrations of the gong create deep relaxation and state of meditation by altering brain waves from a Beta (waking state) to Theta & Delta (deep meditation). Science teaches that during these brain frequencies we access our deeper subconscious and superconscious and they are key states for healing. Many people have noticeable experiences during a Gong Bath. People can feel their bodies twitch (as the energy meridians are cleared & balanced), have insights, bursts of creative ideas, see splashes of color behind their closed eyes, out of body experiences, or simply experience feelings of total peace & connectedness.
Gong sound can be used to rebalance the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. It has a profound affect on our cardiovascular, autonomic, endocrine and immune systems. It is an excellent therapy for stress related issues, depression, fatigue, anger and hostility, feelings of separation, loneliness, and fear along with many other conditions related to lack of balance and harmony in the body.
